SYNOPSIS
Set in Padua, Italy, The Taming of the Shrew is a lively and mischievous comedy about courtship, disguise, and the battle of the sexes. Baptista Minola, a wealthy nobleman, declares that his younger daughter Bianca cannot marry until his strong-willed elder daughter, Katherine, is wed. Suitors are desperate to marry the sweet-natured Bianca, but none dare approach fiery Katherine—until the bold and boisterous Petruchio arrives, determined to tame her. Full of mistaken identities, clever servants, and outrageous plots, The Taming of the Shrew explores love, power, and transformation, all with Shakespeare’s signature wit and sharp dialogue.

This production embraces a non-gender-biased approach to casting and performance.
